I am listening to this from "听理想“. I think the audio performer sounded too sweet, so it took me a while to get used to her voice. I imagined I would get something different if I read the book instead of listening to it. It is probably very true. But it is convenient to have it read out. As chapters went on, I kept thinking about difference of audio book and paper version. And of course, I started reading the book from my phone meanwhile.
The pieces about the fake golden ring, how it made her feel special and full of hope, while she was stuck in the vast hardship. That's so true. ;) Am I also in a some kind of winter pasture as well?
